Our Mission

 The Foundation proposes to support research programs, scientific societies for promotion of science in the youth and motivating them towards science education creating technical manpower to the country. The Foundation provides financial assistance for organizing science conferences, seminars, workshops and symposia on important scientific topics where scientists present their research findings.

DR.Vishwanath P. Agrawal Journey

Prof. Vishwanath P. Agrawal is prominent among Nepali scientists and academicians not only for what he has pioneered and achieved as a scientist working in the field of research and education, but also for his direct and indirect role in inspiring and training hundreds of Nepali students, many of whom now located across the globe, to work in the field of science and technology. A Fulbright fellow (1972-1978) with a chemistry background, Prof. Agrawal has worked with three well-known personalities in the field of plant lipid research: Prof. P. E. Kolattukudy (Washington State University, USA, 1974 -78), Prof. H. K. Mangold (Federal Center for Lipid Research, Germany, 1982-83) and Prof. P. K. Stumpf (UC Davis, USA 1983-85). He has published a number of groundbreaking papers on biosynthesis of ω-hydroxy C-18 fatty acid (a major constituent of suberin), and on the enzyme purification, characterization, enzyme kinetics, fatty acid analysis and biosynthesis of saturated and unsaturated long-chain fatty acids in plants.

भि.पी. अग्रवाल साईन्स फाउण्डेशनले नेपाली, अंग्रेज़ी, गणित, विज्ञान र सामाजिक शिक्षा विषयमा प्रवेशिका परीक्षामा उत्कृष्ट नतिजा ल्याउने सार्वजनिक विद्यालयका माध्यमिक तहका शिक्षकलाई प्रोत्साहित गर्न  “भि.पी. अग्रवाल उत्कृष्ट माध्यमिक शिक्षक पुरस्कार” स्थापना गरेको छ ।

रू. २,२२,२२२/-उक्त पुरस्कार यसै बर्षको माघ महिनामा दिने उद्देश्य अनुरूप देहायका योग्यता पुगेका सार्वजनिक विद्यालयका शिक्षकहरूले www.vpagrawalsciencefoundation.org.np पोर्टलमा गई आवेदन दिनु हुन सम्बन्धित सबैका लागि यो सूचना प्रकाशित गरिएको छः-

  • सम्बन्धित विद्यालयको स्थायी शिक्षक वा कम्तीमा पाँच वर्ष निरन्तर काम गरेको करार वा राहत कोटामा काम गरेको शिक्षक हुनु पर्ने ।
  • सम्बन्धित विषयमा पछिल्लो दुई वर्षको विषयगत नतीजामा कम्तीमा असी प्रतिशत विद्यार्थी उत्तीर्ण भएको ।
  • विद्यालयको समग्र उत्तीर्ण नतिजा आवेदन वर्षहरूमा कम्तिमा ३५ प्रतिशत भएको ।
  • हिमाली र पहाड़ी जिल्लामा कम्तीमा २० जना, तराई र काठमाडौं उपत्यकामा कम्तीमा ३० जना विद्यार्थी परीक्षामा सहभागी भएको ।
  • आवेदन अवधिमा कुनै असाधारण विदा नलिएको, सट्टा शिक्षक नराखेको, भ्रष्टाचार र फौजदारी अभियोग लागेको र कुनै विभागीय कारवाही भएको हुन नहुने ।
  • यस प्रयोजनका लागि सि ग्रेड सम्म ल्याएकोलाई मान्यता दिइने ।
  • पहिलो चरणमा प्रत्येक विषयमा उत्कृष्ट ३ जनालाई छनौट गरिने र तीन जनाको प्रस्तुति समेतका आधारमा उत्कृष्ट विषय शिक्षक छनौट गरी पुरस्कृत गरिनेछ । अन्य विवरण आवेदन फाराममा उल्लेख गरिएको छ ।

तसर्थ उपर्युक्त योग्यता पुगेका शिक्षकले फाउण्डेशनको वेवसाईटमा भएको  सिफारिस फाराम डाउनलोड गरी विवरण भरी विद्यालयबाट प्रमाणित गराई सूचना प्रकाशन भएको मितिले २१ दिनभित्र अनलाइन आवेदन दिनु होला । यस विषयमा थप बुझ्नु परेमा फोन नंबर ९८६४४२२९२६ मा सम्पर्क राख्नुहोला । ढिलो गरी प्राप्त वा अपुरो निवेदनलाई अस्वीकार गरिनेछ ।
